The PSD2 went into full effect in September 2019, when all the retail banking players had to open their APIs. Many companies have utilized this opportunity to challenge the status quo, but not many have succeeded yet. Nordigen is one of those, which has succeeded so far. Now the team is exploring the freemium model for their service.
